Permanent Membership


REQUIREMENTS

A permanent Alpha Gamma Sigma membership is an all-life membership that has been earned when a member meets the standards that our statewide organization set forth when AGS was established in 1926.

Applications are due by April 19th @11:59 PM for the SPRING 2024 SEMESTER

3.25 OR GREATER GPA

Once completing 60 units, with a minimum of 30 units from El Camino, a student with a 3.25 or greater GPA with 2 semesters of membership in Alpha Phi can be eligible for permanent membership.

3.50 OR GREATER GPA

Once completing 60 units, with a minimum of 30 units from El Camino, a student with a 3.50 or greater GPA with 1 semester of membership in Alpha Phi can be eligible for permanent membership.

Applications will be turned in to the Alpha Phi advisor on or before April 19th, 2024.

How to Apply

Fill out the application linked below and attach your current ECC transcript as well as transcripts from any other colleges attended. Send in your application and transcript to ags.cabinet.ecc@gmail.com and cc jcasper@elcamino.edu.


When Will I Hear Back?

After the permanent membership application deadline, your application will be reviewed by the AGS advisor and then by the counselors in the student services building. Due to this process, it will take several weeks to a couple months to be reviewed. Please be patient with us.
